Bill's '65 Giulia Sprint GT

Dear Mr Thompson,

I’m very pleased to know that you enjoy driving your Alfa, and much more thinking that you will give a new life to my grandfather’s car. About the kilometers of the car, I can say that during the period in which it was of my grandfather (he was already old when he bought it), it covered about 4 km daily for nine years (the distance between his house and the baker!).

Then when I received the car, I think I covered no more than 500 or 600 km every year.

Therefore I believe that kilometers signed on the car are real, although they are incredibly few if compared with the age of the car.

Hoping to see you soon in Italy, my best regards,

Francesco Sperandeo

Here is an old photo of my 1965 Sprint GT being raced in northern Italy by its original owner. The odometer shows 58,405 km at the conclusion of the pickup trip frrom Baltimore. This car was fully restored in Arona, Italy. I bought it in September 1997.-- Bill Thompson
